On the move, trippin', teeth and racecars!

Liam has been on the go the past couple of weeks now that he's got the hang of crawling.

I have to be careful of where I step since he's constantly underfoot. Our whole apartment is carpet (except for the kitchen and bathrooms) so he can just motor along. He used to get stuck on the linoleum floor in the kitchen and just flap his arms and legs because he couldn't get traction (heh--funny) but alas, even the kitchen floor won't hold him back now!

Other news with Liam is that he got his second tooth! He now has a shiny pair of bottom chompers. (not bottom-chompers...chompers on the bottom) Here's the best picture of them:

Okay, you can really only see one, but the other one is there--I promise.

I also have to tell you that I think Liam gave his first kiss yesterday. It was, of course, to his Mommy. :) We were playing on the floor and I was taking pictures (I'm always taking pictures...) and he leaned down and put his mouth on my chin. AND I GOT A PICTURE OF IT! Here it is:

Yeah, too cute. I know. And then he went on to crawl over my face.

Nice. Anyway, he's been busy.

Today was a fun day. We went to visit Scott at his work and go out for lunch. We went in to see the car--they fired up the engine for the first time this morning and cheers echoed throughout the building! Liam got a chance to check out the car while Daddy explained all of the components and technical stuff and gizmo-y gadget-y goodness.

Yeah, baby, don't get TOO comfortable in that driver's seat! You can work behind the scenes like Daddy does. It's safer.

Liam and I are heading to Ottawa for a trip home to visit the fams. Everyone is excited to see all of Liam's tricks and get their share of kisses and hugs. It will be nice to be home for a bit! I'll have to remember to stock up on good Canadian chocolate to share with my mommy friends here!

Anyhoo, hope all is well with you, dear readers. Have a lovely weekend!

love

PS: forgot to mention: my baby joined a gang. Yeah. I know. Scary, isn't it?

Liam gets cuter with every picture... too bad you aren't taking any though... :-)

I was unaware that Indy had gangs...I would not advise dropping Liam off on the west side of Chicago when you visit... Liam's gang might be a little different.

Love the pictures of Scott, Liam and the car!
