Happy 6-monthiversary, Baby Jude!!

Happy half-birthday, Bubs!
You are 6 months old, today! We had a fantastic day celebrating! Mommy will make up your Half-Birthday storybook so you can look back on today and see all of the fun things we did. You had your first taste of solid food, and although you are definitely not a fan of oatmeal, you rocked the cupcakes! :)

Squishy, Yummy Goodness!

We have been in Ottawa since the beginning of January. Mommy didn't pack Paulie since she didn't think we'd be here this long! Oops! So, Puppy was happy to step in for your photo.

Lo and behold! Look who we found! We went to the toy store to get your half-birthday presents and one of Paulie's Canadian cousins--Francois Toutou--was thrilled to see you! He even posed for a picture with you, Nana and Auntie Catherine!!

This past month you have been busy trying to crawl and sitting up all on your own. You are quite strong and steady. You can do a full-out push-up and hold it for much longer than Mommy can. You are pushing yourself backwards and getting places, although it's not quite where you mean to be. Around your half-birthday you pushed yourself up onto your hands and knees and rocked back and forth. If you had an on-switch, you would have taken off crawling!! You're so close. You love to sing, and often hum yourself to sleep when Mommy rocks you. You are a very cuddly baby and love to get cozy and be enveloped in hugs and snuggles. I'm happy to oblige. You're full of smiles and sweetness. Everyone loves you.
