Happy birthday, Jude!

You are one year old today!  Happy birthday, my sweet boy!
You experienced your first 4th of July during this past month.  We went to our neighbour's house for a party and you were passed around and squeezed and cuddled.  You are so adored--everyone exclaims how beautiful you are. They especially love your curly blonde hair. 
You took your first flight to Ottawa.  You were a little wiggly, but had fun eating snacks for hours on end.  Congratulations on your baptism!  You were such a good baby--very well behaved and admired by all!  Father King mentioned many times how good you were--you didn't fuss, you didn't make strange--you're a perfect baby!  ;)
You and Liam went to the dinosaur museum with Grandma and Daddy; you also went to the reptile farm with Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Liam.  Such fun!

We went to the beach quite a few times, you are definitely a beach bum!  You loved to play in the sand.  We laughed at Liam trying to save the pirate who got thrown off the pirate ship in the river (part of their act). He threw on his floaty and stomped off towards the water to go save him.  You were happy just to be able to play with the toys he had left behind.
You are more vocal these days.  You wave hi and byebye and can "give 5".  You say go-go, momma, dada, no, Nana, Poppa, car (caw), ball (baw).  You are walking a few more steps--up to about 10-13, but still prefer crawling.  You can stand on your own for a bit longer, now, and you can get up and down without support.  Such a strong boy! 

We had a birthday party for you and Liam with your friends.  It was a fun day! 
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for your party and we went to Children's museum for your birthday.  You got a crown and a sticker to wear which said, "I'm one today!"  You got to ride on the carousel and had a fun time!
Happy birthday, baby Jude!  Welcome to the world of being one!
