Today is Liam's first 4th of July! Our little American celebrated his heritage today with a big parade! It was fun--we braved the rain and headed out to cheer on the floats, clowns and even Miss Indiana!

The young guys were doing pop-a-wheelies with their lawn-mowers. I missed that on the video, but got a picture of it:

Liam has a special 4th of July outfit to wear, but since it was too cold to wear it today (rainy and only +16 C) he is going to wear it tomorrow when we go to our friends' house for a "cook-out" (the American version of a BBQ). The celebrating continues!
In other news, we bought a house! It's a beautiful 4 BR, 3 1/2 BA in a lovely neighbourhood with excellent schools and close to all amenities. It was a great deal and we are fortunate to have found it. It's brand new and we close on the 21st! We're thrilled!
Anyhoo, lots to do in the coming weeks!! I'll try to keep you updated!

Congratulations to the Raymond family! Becky, it is SOOOOOOOO beautiful! You guys really don't have to do a thing to it before moving in! Is it brand new? You will fill that home with so much love! Liam must be drooling over all of the crawling/walking space :)
